The Change
I like organization. I don’t like to be confused and I assume that everyone else thinks the way I do. This blogging thing has become an obsession enjoyment and I allowed it to pretty much rule my summer. Instead of creating one blog, I decided that organization was necessary, so I created two blogs, and along the way became a contributor to three others, and decided to also do some offline freelance work.
encouraged reference. I even grew an affinity for my laptop which I absolutely hate because computers don’t belong in or on your lap. I needed to be saved from this new, dangerously pleasurable world, but I wasn’t strong enough to pull myself away.
Through all of my surfing, I stumbled upon Kysha’s homeschool blog (from where, I just don’t know), started reading it, and enjoyed it. About one month later, she posted my wake up call, which was a gentle nudging from GOD. I needed to “Smell the coffee…,” “Have a V-8,” “Get a clue…,” before everything fell apart. I was living and breathing, barely sleeping and blogging.
I’ve been enjoying the blogging because it has given me a chance to write, which is what I love doing. You can also affordably self-publish (whether anyone reads you or not), receive immediate feedback, and the instant community is incredible. I knew I wanted to continue blogging, but I was going to have to make a change. I’m a wife, mother, and have a non-cyberspace life as do all of the other bloggers. I needed to reclaim my life.
The decision was really hard, but I decided to just work on Little Green Secrets (LGS) and continue as a contributor at the other locations (5 Minutes for Going Green and Busy Mommy). The tricky part for me is figuring out how all of it works together. I am merging Homeschool Roster with LGS. I hope I will be able to still share some useful information on green and natural living as well as about homeschooling. This will provide an excellent opportunity for me to keep record (with pictures too, because I’ve gotta have the pictures) of school, which we continue next week.
I think I too have my priorities in line and am ready to get on with “wifing, mothering, meing, schooling, and blogging.” Enjoy the great reads, give me some feedback, and continue to come back.
Thanks Jennisa for all of your hard work. I LOVED the work you did on Blogger!

It seems there are still a few kinks but I like where you are going with this so far. Good luck with the change.
