Life - One Big Project #2

You may remember Life - One Big Project #1 and then there was Life - One Big Project #1, Take Two…Well, I didn’t accomplish either project the first time around and the second time around was another bust. So, I thought I would try it again, only forget about the first and start all over again with an entirely new project. Okay, I will definitely accomplish this project. I’m certain of it because there is no room for failure. Basically, if I’m not done by March 2, then whatever is …

E.T.: Phone Home and Tell Them to Come Get You

My kids discovered E.T. Well, rather, my husband and I were going through the list of movies we enjoyed when we were younger and we thought they would enjoy E.T. too. Their television time has moved to more parent selected movies and away from commercial television. Replacing store bought bread for homemade is my next challenge. I was tagged by her to participate in the Meme 6 Random Things about myself. Even though each person should be …

How Can a Two Year Old Have a Bad Hair Day?

Well, first of all, he’s not two yet and second it’s just not possible. Children are victims of their parents. Their only hope, but they don’t realize it until they’re adults, is that we don’t totally embarrass them to the point where looking through a family album makes them cry about being alive.
Schubaboobaly still has his baby hair. He has not yet had that first real haircut and I’m not sure how soon, if ever, he will have “the cut.” My oldest son came to this same point in his …

Well, it feels good to be back. We started school about two weeks ago and I’ve been consumed with that work. It is exciting, complicated, busy, and until I get everything together a lot of work. We are homeschoolers and our school year has just begun. My original plan was to start in August, but obviously, that didn’t happen and

here we are now. I’m actually quite excited about what the children (and Mommy) will be learning this year and also looking forward to the field trips we have planned, …
